Precedent was already set here in the US long ago - Washington insisted on his army getting smallpox inoculation (the live virus kind iirc). Various states have them for education and healthcare workers and the modern military get a battery of them when they join up. So tbh doing different for Covid would be more the precedent here so that may account for some of the comfort I have with it.Nice one mate I respect your opinion and just curious.
My own is something about it just doesn’t sit right with me, more the mandates then the vaccine bonus approach.
If I had to vote on it, I probably would be against, it’s the ethical precedent around consent, more than the context to be honest - which will bring about a greater good I know. You also know I’m a strong advocate in favour of vaccine and mitigation measures.
Its really amazing what the last 19 months has brought isn’t it.
