Jim Reed is partial correct. Over 65s and other vulnerable people must have a 3rd vaccination in order to keeptheir 'pas santé valid.
They have upto 15th Dec to do that.
The ps is not required for shopping etc etc but is mandatory for entry to public offices, hospitals etc and more important for some, entry to bars and restaurants.

And inevitably rolled out to everyone as we approach summer. I expect the same here in England, just a bit slower, perhaps for next winter

If they're going to do something in UK it needs to be done before the real winter starts. Ie now.
I don't think they can go from nothing to get your booster or you can't go to a restaurant within a month or so, with cases going down

I think after the Christmas disaster they'll bring it in for January and then it'll stay

looks like i'm back in the office from Jan. need to be in 8 days a month.

perky jan perky x perky 'i love the office' people = hell on earth
Is that UK? If so I can almost guarantee the government will bring in WFH again before then. Christmas will put the hospitals in a really bad spot again with covid and flu, so I'd expect you'll get a 2-3 month reprieve there!

I'm with you - I hated office life so much it pushed me to go freelance!

yeah, i agree - i think they will too. I wonder why our office even bothered arranging it now and not just wait until the spring.

absolutely no indication of that, in fact the clamour for Plan B has disapeared

For now, but last year it exploded in December during usual respiratory virus season and it'll do the same this year (flu and covid combined). It's inevitable. I'm not for any measures, but it's hard to imagine we get through winter without them
