Apologies for not responding. Been quite unwell.

I've had the test results back, but they're negative. After spending yesterday waiting 5 hours to see a doctor, they've diagnosed me with a really nasty bout of bronchitis again, and it has well and truly knocked me for six.

The good news is that it's a LRI, so if I can survive this - I should be able to survive an URI.

Good to hear mate, you take care ;)

I went for a solo cycle ride out into Surrey today. Getting back through Richmond Park (on the outskirts of London) was ridiculous. Literally thousands of people had descend on the place. I've seen it busy but today was something else. I've also heard that thousands of people were cramming onto Snowdon today too. I completely get why people want to get out and about but it seems many people are devoid of common sense.

Ireland (still 3 deaths AFAIK):

The Department of health has confirmed there are 102 new cases of coronavirus in Ireland, bringing the total number of people testing positive for Covid-19 to 785.

More than 10,000 people in Ireland have now been tested for the virus.

Dr Colm Henry, chief clinical officer with the HSE, said that its strategy is "focused completely" on identifying case, isolating patients and identifying contacts.

I'm getting concerned I'm going to become isolated and short of money for shopping. I live on my own and the financial implications are actually starting to bother me now, more than the actual virus itself.

I feel incredibly guilty for moaning about the financial hit I’m probably taking when I’m still in an incredibly fortunate position . If things get tough mate people here will help , including me .
