My mother has asked me not to call up to see her tomorrow, 45 years and ive never once failed to see her on mothers day.

My brother works for the NHS, clerical side, hes now basically a junior doctor and has told my mum he wont be coming anywhere near her for the next few months.

And yet none of the above compares to the hardship that everybody else is going through.

I was defo a "this is no worse than the flu" idiot at first.

But this is truly heartbreaking to watch, the world is on fire and theres nothing we can do other than watch as it burns.

I mean yes, theres lots WE can do, wash your hands, stay at home, pray.

This was me when it was further afield in China. As soon as it got closer to home it’s become more real and incredibly harrowing. Am sure your mum will be better off with not seeing you and luckily nowadays there are means for this like FaceTime etc.

Tell us all the real figures, oh oracle!

The UK curve is curently bang on Italy's, why would you expect something different?
The UK are flat out lying about their numbers. Yesterday they said they had 20 ICU patients (altogether!) despite an entire London hospital no longer able to handle anymore patients. Today they announce 56 deaths and the ICU figure is still at 20. It's quite clear that the numbers don't stack up!

so far the media have said very little but surely someone starts asking the hard questions shortly.

I hope the government to enact some measures to make sure the oldies and NHS workers get what they want from supermarkets before these other nobheads who keep piling in. I have seen a video today from Bromborough I think, lines of people waiting for Asda.

saying that I’ve spoke to people who’ve been the shops today and there wasn’t any pasta and I don’t think much milk And maybe eggs (I’m not sure ) but otherwise good . The reality is our shopping will have to change you’re not just going to get what you want when you want it for a few months , I’m not dismissing the old old or NHS I mean more those Queuing. Our shopping habits , Like much else will change .
