Every company in the country that were going to keep their staff and pay them are mightly relieved this evening.
He’s in great form though, life as normal but a cough.Better safe than sorry.
).I hadn’t until you mentioned itThis is of course a lovely story but did anyone else think she is probably going to catch a mild cold next week and pass on anyhow?
No? Just me then (awaits incoming arrows).

Hang on, so my landlords can get a 3 month breather on their mortgage for this house I rent but I still have to pay 70% of my rent to live in it? Ffs.

They didn’t move quickly enough so health service was overwhelmed. This is what’s been puzzling me about italy. They’ve been on lockdown and not going out for what, a week now? The shops are empty, only one at a time being admitted. But the death toll keeps on rising, so there must be another reason. Is it that older family members are often living at home with the family? They don’t stick their old folk in homes like we do. And we don’t seem to ever hear what the ages of the dead are as a percentage. e.g. are they overwhelmingly over 80 say, or 90?

Lots has contributed. But basically, the more draconian and quick then response, the lower the death rate.
No more unfair than giving employees 80% of their wages guaranteed while giving freelancers £350 a month to live off (that's assuming that Universal Credit works under what you presume would be a heavily reduced HO workforce, which I highly doubt given the problems they had under a full workforce)
