Sounds daft to say, but the footy will be a very small scale version of the rest of the country.
Cases are continuing to drop across the board, even with massive uplift in testing.
It was going to get worse before it gets better and we're in the eye of the storm again in regards to deaths. It's crap and I feel for anybody else who has lost a loved one or relative or friend. It's horrendous.
Just have to get through to the other side and keep vaccinating.

Also it will completely put people off doing any exercise at all leading to more serious health problems.

This comment is absolutely laughable, how can anyone forgot there is a pandemic when it controls every aspect of our life and has driven basically everyone to the brink of depression.

But does it? We have known about this for a year and still people were not following basic protocol because they didnt care.
For me the biggest mistake we made was not sealing boarders from day one and not enforcing lockdown and masks properly, we can blame him for that, but there was nothing to stop the public looking after each other, many did but plenty refused.

Now it’s cold and rainy, everyone wants their kids in school and wants to go to work as furlough has / is being jibbed.
When I said the buck stops with the PM, it was because of his fannying about and not making Cummings look like the tit he was is what triggered the not arsed attitude of the public.

Two things:Israel’s virus czar says 1st dose less effective than Pfizer indicated — report
Nachman Ash reportedly says it's not certain vaccines can protect against mutated coronavirus strains; 12,400 Israelis were infected with virus after receiving 1st shot
1/ it sounds like the 2nd dose quickly after the 1st vastly cuts down on new infections (contra the UK Government agenda for spacing those jabs out by 3 months)
2/ though infections are occurring there's no mention of how severe the infections are
