I see people are still going outside and moaning about other people being outside.
Who would that be? Me? Im going out and keeping socially distanced and with a face covering.

See how it works?

Stay within the old rules and dont entertain anything this 'kin murderous government are telling you now.

Shock horror who would have thought...

Why I quit working on Boris Johnson's ‘world-beating' test-and-tracing system

A good friend of mine got a job with the civil service about February time . Passed the interview , the written stuff, everything.

3 weeks ago told him they were still checking his references......

So now he is applying for civil service jobs whilst waiting for the one they have offered him to actually employ him

The government admin seems a shambles.

*sacks all the bar staff and blames @davek .........

You might want to have a look at how this is working over here Pete, for your own business...

Set number of tables, based on size of bar/terrace area.
Bar staff to wear masks
table service only (he's fuming about this, like)
no sitting at the bar
toilets cleaned and wiped down every hour
gloves and masks to be worn whilst preparing food (he only does cheese and salami portions, but he's sacking those right off)
No mixing between groups once you're at your table and maximum group of 10 (he's holding over the two big tables for regulars to see each other, in possibly the only naughty thing i'll have done in this whole shebang.)

900 people killed in the last 3 days.

Bollocks to the lifting of the lockdown. We are either in the middle of the first wave or starting a second wave.

Defy these murderers and remain indoors as best you can.

Thanks, I think I’ve said before that I believe table service increases risk to staff and customers as it brings a table full of people and staff together instead of one customer talking to staff at the bar. The industry is still talking to the government regarding these issues.....

Or I could help my friend's business and enjoy a drink in an environment considered safe by the city and regional government in a social setting for the first time since March the 13th.

Do your owe him your life?

Bollocks to him and his business?

And, btw, that city government allowed 3,000 infected Spaniards to roam all over Liverpool. Do you still trust those nobheads?

I think broadly that’s how it’ll go . For all the distaste , tim Martin tends to be abreast of the situation and he seems to be prepaying for /suggesting similar .

The idea, I think is that you keep people away from the bar where the staff will be spending most of their time. He's bending the rules a little by having people write orders on beermats and drop them on the bar rather than running around tables all the time when he's got 20 other things to be on with...
