I personally think good table service is doable though , whether it’s wholly appropriate with this I honestly don’t know but staffing wise I think it doesn’t take much to get it right especially with the inevitable reduce capacity.
Table service in cafés and bars was the norm in our local town.
It was only the brits on holiday that crowded round the counter.

UK Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden has said there have been 2,445 new infections over the last 24 hours, confirmed through testing.

So, as the UK eases lockdown measures further, how do these case numbers compare with other European countries relaxing their restrictions?

France and the UK have similar populations, of around 66 million, but France registered only 597 new infections yesterday.

In Italy, a country of around 60 million, there were 516 new cases.

Germany, with a population of 83 million, published a figure of 741 new infections yesterday.

The Office for National Statistics puts the daily number of infections in England significantly higher than the daily figure confirmed by testing. It estimates, using survey data, that it could be as high as 8,000 per day.

I quote the great teachings of Jim Cameron 1991 AD:

John Connor: We're not gonna make it, are we? Humans, I mean.
The Terminator: It's in your nature to destroy yourselves.

You have to question the sanity of anyone who actually joined that queue.

Looking at stuff like this, the next couple of weeks figures should really give us an indication of the way things are going to go.

Local parks were heaving today.

It's kinda 50/50 here. The table service seems to be mainly the more tourist oriented places (by observation) the local "bruin cafes" are more you huddling around the bar in the dinge.

Went cycling with the guy who runs my local today (where i got the info from) and he said that he's taking written orders from a whole table. No way he's running round whilst 6 people all decide they want drinks 5 minutes apart from each other. He's had to cut his staff right down to just him and his son already and doing all the cleaning himself now until he can pay his normal guy again. They need to be efficient in getting all the glasses washed, drinks poured, tidying up etc etc.

There has to be a little admiration for how well they are taking to the task to try and cause a second spike to stop the RS winning the league, but all said and done I wish they wouldn't. People don't quite grasp if there is another lengthy lockdown almost everyone's jobs are going to be at risk.
