We go there quite often.
It's always dead busy.

I hope you are not going when it's queueing bad busy though? I got no qualms people going to these places but you have to use judgement, like am I going to be close to others for 20 minutes as I just get down to the beach. Not to mention the sea breeze blowing little spores up and back.

People could stagger when they arrive, they know it's going to be busy so rock up early or go later on for a couple of hours. I bet 50% all rocked up at around 11:30ish.

By and large. Quite a few large'ish groups. It's a noticeable change over the past few weeks though. You could go along the South Bank a few weeks ago and it would be dead, but it was pretty busy today, with quite a few of the stalls/vans open and a couple of buskers performing. Far more like a normal weekend. The only real difference were none of the major buildings, like the BFI or Southbank Centre were open.

By and large whenever I've been out people are adhering to the 2m rule, so the nature reserve next to my house was fine, everyone keeping to their distance on paths. A little further along and I walk past some tennis courts and football pitches - absolutely packed.

It really does depend on the circumstances.

Cycling on your own for exercise = fine
A football match in a park with 20 other people = not fine.
