This governments handling of the crisis has been nothing short of a national disgrace.

It goes well beyond a cockroach like Cummings.

It's herd immunity then, now, and to come.

The evidence tends to suggest that they are determined to see through a 60%-70% infection rate of the population. The next few weeks will hand them what they want.

This is murder. Don t allow them to kill you. Stay socially distanced; stay away from crowds and confinced spaces; stay indoors as much as is humanly possible.

How quickly they have reversed back into Herd Immunity after the stark realization that the Economics dont add up and tanking economies, UK and worldwide is not a risk worth taking.

There are some very bad times ahead for so many people.

I'd hazrad a guess and say there's about 0.5% of the people Ilve seen while out who have them on. And I find it hard to believe you have anything approaching even 10% where you are.

I heard a report on the radio earlier saying it was around 30% of people wearing them, which seems on the high side to me. My work has been designated as critical to COVID-19 support as we supply hygiene products etc. to the food industry. Although the number of site visits we go on now has significantly reduced almost all of them have wearing of masks whilst on site as one of their main COVID-19 control measures. We have been advised to wear them at all times apart from in the car on your own. I can't see why anyone would not wear one. The general scientific opinion seems to have shifted to saying they can help reduce the spread of the virus but it needs a significant number of people doing so to effect this. If you look at the countries who seem to have done best in battling the virus the majority have made mask wearing in public places pretty much compulsory.

A couple of weeks ago it was north of 3000.

So it's probably averaged 3k a day over the last two weeks

In certain work environments Ilm sure they are worn.

But 30% in the UK wearing face masks? That seems unfeasibly high.

Not one for curtain twitching but im getting pretty darn fed up of the bloke over the road constantly chatting to his neighbour without any form of social distancing.
