Aye. People will do what people will do. I'm past worrying really, but it's interesting to note the change. At the start you'd get people running or cycling in parks, and that was it. Then gradually more people would sit about, have the odd sneaky picnic. Now there's scarcely a patch of grass left unused. The social distancing isn't an issue as naturally people won't position themselves that close to strangers anyway, but it was noticeable that every single bit of grass we encountered today was jam packed. Even one just down the road from Guy's.

It's an interesting time, as this morning we were screamed at by a lady who thought we were too close as we went to pick up an avocado in Tesco. Seems some are still shitting it and tense, and many others are seemingly not bothered at all.
Definitely a southern thing that.

People wanking themselves into a frenzy over any gathering of over 10 people. Get a life. Only hope people have the same vigour when they see someone speeding.

it’s crap virtue signalling at its best

It's an isolated example, but on Monday there were more like the usual number of 'driving you from the road' types out and about, which was impressive as I was out pretty early. They'd have had a heck of a time later on in the day as coming back into town the other way was like the Tour de France. I'll see what it's like in the morning. Should say, of course, that most motorists are perfectly fine, but it's always fun when a bloke overtakes too close, then slams on his brakes to shout at you for taking up too much space.

So yeah, it'd be nice if we could all be considerate and stuff
