I don't think there will be a country around the world where they won't be thinking they could have done things differently. Johnson will rightly attract criticism because he's been practically invisible. Obviously there have been reasons for that to an extent, but the central government figure during all of this has been Hancock. Johnson has been a complete non-entity, and the frequent wheeling out of his dad does little to shake the image of him as an over-entitled buffoon.

My boss has done a complete about-face...wanting me to start driving up and down the country to see customers from Tuesday. I have refused so (vulnerable Diabetes) so dunno where I stand...

My boss sent me a handwritten request to return to work next Wednesday - temporarily?? Then he says when the job is done back to furlough - I'm quite certain this is illegal, but luckily for me I have got out of it due to my wife still being full time and having a 7 year old daughter to look after - why would I lose half our combined income to go back to work whilst the furlough is still in place....

There are more TV stations and programmes than GMB....I’ve no idea why anyone would tolerate being treated the way Morgan goes about his business. His bosses love him tearing people to bits, we’ll let’s see how they love being ignored and avoided......

Certainly a scary prospect if it "returns " worse than this, which it looks quite likely that it will.

Depends on contact tracing success imo. If it works I'm hoping that, along with continued social distancing methods, we'll be able to keep a lid on this thing until a vaccine is available, without having to resort to a second lockdown
