The care home my daughter works in has yet to have a case, they arent allowed to wear masks in case they "scare the old people". The problem is the sheer amount of Agency staff they use, so you would assume its only a matter of time........
Agency staff is the real problem with care homes
Impossible to limit their interaction with multiple homes
There again if the homes had enough staff they would not need agency staff
The way care homes and nursing homes are run will need to be thoroughly investigated after this ends
Those investigations need to order legally binding changes to the way these homes are run

Has anyone considered that the Americans, CIA, engineered the virus, then released in the market in Wuhan, knowing that there is a biolab in Wuhan and that China would be blamed for it; so that they can sue China for the $1t and overthrow the Communist Government there and undermine the WHO to benefit big pharma?
No that is totally at odds with what the aliens who abducted and anally probed me told me

High levels of air pollution may be “one of the most important contributors” to deaths from Covid-19, according to research.

The analysis shows that of the coronavirus deaths across 66 administrative regions in Italy, Spain, France and Germany, 78% of them occurred in just five regions, and these were the most polluted.

The research examined levels of nitrogen dioxide, a pollutant produced mostly by diesel vehicles, and weather conditions that can prevent dirty air from dispersing away from a city. Many studies have linked NO2 exposure to health damage, and particularly lung disease, which could make people more likely to die if they contract Covid-19.

My other half could tell you a few stories in her role as a director in local government. She's always said that there are some really well run ones out there and some where it's all about the money, but luckily the majority are all well run.

"Yes, we are going to speak to UEFA and insist the game is replayed as Jurgen Klopp and his players couldn't focus on the game because their minds were on those people dying with the virus and the game was the last thing on their minds. YNWA"

And we wouldn't tackle them because we adhered strictly to the two metre social distance ruling.

Yes - in general it's not likely to mutate into anything more deadly once its' successful, as that'd mean it'd kill quicker and have less time to multiply.

Depends on how you define that. If it is infection to death, then yes the virus would have less time to spread so not a "helpful" mutation from the virus's point of view.

However, SARS CoV2 appears to spread before symptoms manifest and time from infection to symptoms can be up to two weeks. A mutation that only increased lethality and not the two previous parameters is an absolute nightmare scenario.

Edit: Also there have already been mutations. RNA viruses are notorious for mutations. They have less built in checks in RNA than DNA replication. Just so far nothing radically different.

I think that like common cold there'll be a level of heightened immune resistance even if not outright immunity. Reason this is so deadly is because it's never been exposed to us before.

Similarly, that's why I think it targets the old. The younger immune system has built in safeguards to new exposure to viruses so it's not as deadly. That's why the likelihood is this goes into circulation and becomes just a particularly nasty cold in the next 10 years or so.
Are you a virologist or microbiologist or are your thoughts just hopes
