Apple say they dont
The Irish Government say they dont
The Irish government is backing Apples application to have this ruling overturned #
That 13 Billion would cover every Financial cost of this pandemic to the Irish coffers
Apple has over 200 billion in CASH reserves
Yet it will be the small taxpayers that picks up the tab ,and it will be the same in Britain

I'm fuming with it all as are many.

My local news tonight had a story where QA Hospital in Pompey were using a nursing home to home people with symptoms as they were out of beds.
Well guess what's happened.. yep, 5 deaths in 24 hours as they are passing it round.
Those deaths don't count for our figures either as deaths in nursing homes are not being counted btw.
Absolutely bloody mental. I'd even say borderline criminal that.

My missus works in a nursing home. Several suspected cases among the residents but they are being refused tests.

I live the georgian quarter and on saturday day time top of my road seen a body getting put into the morgue transit vans .. they had the most basic PPE on i think there massively getting undervalued

Got off the phone a few mins ago.
Step mum's 'been in bed all day' is what me dad said. Sounds like all the symptoms apart from the cough to me.
He didn't sound as rough as yesterday and my lads had to go on isolation from Saturday job for 2 weeks.

We have talked every night since this broke out and end up saying the same thing to eachother every night.
1. We need tests badly.
2. Chatting about them gobshites at Anfield.

Interestingly, the coronavirus binds to the angiotensin converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) in the lungs. There are long known genetic differences in the Renin-Angiotensin systems (more in the kidney and blood pressure effects than lung) between AA and Caucasians. Very interesting area for research in the future, but hopefully doesn't supplant the very real socioeconomic differences contributing to the different admission/fatality rates.

the tax is owed to countries around the world where the apple companies made money, not in Ireland
so Ireland has no right to this money
