Try and ensure that he doesn't end up going into ICU? Let them prepare for a scenario that they or no one really wants. To do what, though? Further erode the trust that people have in them?

Assuming you mean the big T, I fully agree he's a horrid bloke and I'm very concerned as to how he got in power.
However, in terms of who will have the balls to go after China when all is said and done... he might actually do some good. And it'll be up to the EU, Britain and the rest of the G8/20 nations to pile in too. Because it's needed.
Doesn't excuse how bad the reaction has been in the west, mind, especially UK and US.

Not about the security of the people who live in the UK? Economics and defence? The Leader? piss up in a brewery springs to mind.No government on the planet would give you an honest up to date account of the health of their Leader. Ffs even the Vatican was quiet about the Pope. This has nothing to do with trust, everything to do with economic and defence security.....

I think that was mainly for show. It is the same as the messy hair thing, he has a persona that he wants the public to believe is the real him.He never looked the healthiest of people but was always jogging and riding his bike.
It was a bit painful to watch. I was hoping he'd stay in bed and rest.He looked as though he was really suffering when he was standing on the steps of number 10 the other night......
