Well... just playing Devil's Advocate here. If the PM is ill, then you probably do overreact in terms of 'precautions'.

If he is in his own private ward, away from anyone else, it'll probably be to make sure he has everything else he needs in terms of emergency equipment if needed. The best of the best and all that. You'd think that's how these things work?

Not saying that's definitely the case here, like.

I don't think he'll know or care where he is. I would think he'd be heavily sedated in order to get a tube down his throat so they can start pumping oxygen into his lungs

Data from Italy where the ICUs were overwhelmed so you would expect worse care than Boris will get.

I definitely saw stats that said so far in the UK 50.1% of those admitted to ICU in the UK have died from COVID-19.

The narrative sounds otherwise because of the way I'm interpreting it . He's fine , just a bit sick. He's fine , just having to go into hospital for a few checks. Oh hes fine , just being overly careful by moving him into the ICU.

See what I mean? I get you never disclose the reality of your leader. Been the same for hundreds of years , they were never going to come out and tell you the truth for the most part of it. It's just when it's getting serious that it's kinda silly to keep downplaying it almost to pretend it's not happening.

Stop down playing this Number 10. You go in Intensive care for 1 reason only... you could die.

No way is he in ICU and not on a Ventilator

I lived through a Spanish ICU.
Glad no one told me these numbers when I was in there like !
Listening to people die was awful though. Lids who were screaming in pain after traffic accidents etc.
