What this should do, if nothing else, is drill it into the idiotic brains of those who spent and continue to spend time playing on beaches or in parks or having parties that it can happen to anyone, even one of the main leaders of our country so stay the damn hell indoors till it’s safe to get back to normal

They were claiming Boris' health was worsening yesterday and saying he was going to be put on a ventilator. This was yesterday when the British media were downplaying this all and claiming it a "precaution". Today afternoon, Downing street claimed these reports to be "fake news".

Not being funny but practically everybody on here was saying the same. There's no way they'd risk sending him to hospital unless it was absolutely necessary

Assuming you mean the big T, I fully agree he's a horrid bloke and I'm very concerned as to how he got in power.

However, in terms of who will have the balls to go after China when all is said and done... he might actually do some good. And it'll be up to the EU, Britain and the rest of the G8/20 nations to pile in too. Because it's needed.

Doesn't excuse how bad the reaction has been in the west, mind, especially UK and US.

From many accounts, they've known the severity of the situation before today's late announcement and their questioning (or lack of) is questionable in itself.
