They were claiming Boris' health was worsening yesterday and saying he was going to be put on a ventilator. This was yesterday when the British media were downplaying this all and claiming it a "precaution". Today afternoon, Downing street claimed these reports to be "fake news".

It is long but found this an interesting interview with a US critical care doctor in Philly.

At around 5 mins in he talks about unusual non invasive ventilation techniques they are using for coronavirus but emphasizes that they need close supervision so can be intubated quickly if situation changes, presumably meaning ICU care. All speculative of course but wonder if that is what they are trying with Boris?
