Not everyone who goes into ICU dies you know.

And given he's the PM... You'd think - and you know, I'm not meaning this to sound callous - that he'll probably be getting more attention than if one of us mere normals ends up in there (touch wood not like).

Just read the story and the government are still downplaying it every single step of the way.

Only moved to ICU as a precaution. That doesn't happen. Same as you don't go to hospital for tests as a precaution.

They really don't want to admit the truth here and God forbid it goes the wrong way, how can they downplay it anymore? To go from precaution over and over to serious, can't spin that in any other way.

Just be bloody honest for once.

Well... just playing Devil's Advocate here. If the PM is ill, then you probably do overreact in terms of 'precautions'.

If he is in his own private ward, away from anyone else, it'll probably be to make sure he has everything else he needs in terms of emergency equipment if needed. The best of the best and all that. You'd think that's how these things work?

Not saying that's definitely the case here, like.

What were the Russian media saying?

the headline was just "BORIS JOHNSON ILL" with this picture underneath

He’s in intensive care not a comfortable side room with a few machines that go ping.

He’s there for a reason, he’s seriously ill.

They were claiming Boris' health was worsening yesterday and saying he was going to be put on a ventilator. This was yesterday when the British media were downplaying this all and claiming it a "precaution". Today afternoon, Downing street claimed these reports to be "fake news".

I imagine he'd be on his own just because of the extra security around a serving PM. He must be in a bad way though if they can't sort him out with the best of the best behind closed doors at Downing St.
