You should let the ICU staff doing 18 hour shifts how hard you're having it. I'm sure it will be the inspiration they need to stop focussing on the risk of reusing 'single use' equipment and sharing things that aren't and think of all the hardship you're having looking after the grandkids and cutting the grass.

It is a pain. I was delighted when my mower started today, and e mailed the NHS to tell them.

I have the utmost admiration for everyone involved in providing care within the NHS so you can take that particular argument back. However, planners like yourself, who didn’t purchase ppe because the government was slow giving the thumbs up, even though you had the foresight to know what was happening Is another matter.....

Full disclosure - Im a massive big Pharma cynic.
And of course I sincerely do hope it works, that all said...

This is an antiviral that they have been throwing at every virus they can for at least 10 years hoping it final works for something.

As far as I am aware this is for the clinical trials that have started up not just anyone or any hospital. I could be wrong. I’d love to be wrong.
My cynical self says it probably doesn’t include compassionate use outside the trials and insurance general doesn’t cover investigation drugs.

I was definitive about the 2 month claim because the dates didn’t line up, as I posted. So you naturally assume that I have claimed some form of inside knowledge, which I have never claimed. So it was my usual logical assessment as opposed to your usual it must be the fault of the Tories.......

So you admit they were sat on their hands, just not for exactly 2 months.

There is a difference buying thousands to buying the millions needed to fill the demand...I've done my job, the government on the other hand.

What you think Corbyn and abbot would of handled it better.
Corbyn would of bought ventilaters for other countries and don't even get me to compare Diane abbot to rishi sunak.

Corbyn probably would have handled it better, because we would have had two months of the media asking what was being done to prepare instead of saying how glowing Carrie Symonds was, such a wholesome alternative to that Markle bint etc.
