Just been told my dads neighbour has died from covid aged 46 he and his wife returned from Spain 2 weeks ago were she broke her leg so was in hospital over there and she was tested for covid while in hospital he wasn't tested.
He developed a cough 6 days ago and sent home from work at sainsbury's ,he was taken into hospital this morning and died 3 hours later ,so sad nice man aswell used to keep an eye on my dad who's 86 luckily dads not been out for 2 weeks so no contact frightening though.
He had no health issues either apart from being overweight .Take care everyone it frightens you wene its so close to home.

There will be more unfortunately........no age at all......

yep, look to the leadership...I even published PHE’s organigram and pointed out at least two individuals....

“A health department source told the Sunday Times: 'NHS England and Public Health England were reluctant to relinquish their power to private labs.
'Stevens has this absolutely illogical fear of anyone else getting any say over what happens in the NHS.'
A study by the free-market Adam Smith Institute was also critical of NHS quangos for not embracing help from the private sector earlier, and being slow to react.
The report said: 'The UK's COVID-19 testing has been dangerously slow, excessively bureaucratic and hostile to outsiders and innovation.
'There appears to be an innate distrust of outsiders. PHE has actively discouraged use of private sector testing.
'Even within the system, the process for testing and validation is very centralised.”....

Have you just literally posted the view of the Adam Smith Institute? On an NHS related issue? Hahahahaha.

Get in the bin.

Within two hours, as clear as mud.

Wouldn't the government management of an incident supercede NHSE and PHE leadership in event of a national emergency?

Italy posting a much lower death counts is encouraging news. Still can’t get happy with it as it’s still a large number of people dying daily. However there is hope for them.
Really clear in graph form the progress they have made even as testing is increasing - testing is great but it can give an artificial impression that an outbreak is expanding when reality it was there all along you are just “turning the light on” and being able to see it.
