My town is very quiet. Everyone is queuing in the new way, 1 in 1 out, pretty good humoured in the main.
I was already conditioned to be spending a lot of time at home anyrate, so I dont really mind it, but in that respect, I feel quite fortunate. It must be very difficult for many households though.
I‘m hoping that this will teach us to bring manufacturing back home......
Unfortunately they haven't invented a Police Car where the seats are 2m apart from each other
Yeah, queued myself at the chemist myself today, they have set a table up just behind the main door, good idea and social distancing well maintained by the people themselves.
Riveting! I can't wait now for week 2's update.![]()
Just been for my walk and their were alot more cars on the road than ive seen in a while hope people not getting impatient already.A lot of people seem to be just going about their business during the day though.
Its not being enforced in my opinion.
Some good data visualization on the metro areas being provided by the NYT, agree that focus on them makes sense to avoid spread into their surrounding suburban/rural areas. Its following the familiar pattern of getting a familiar foothold in the main transport hubs that are usually dense urban cities NY LA, NJ, New O, that cocktail is just right for the virus. You would love to see a strategic plans now minimizing contagion through the belt on the east and west and coasts and surrounding areas particularly cities. If lock down is lifted though, i wonder will we see a mass exit from these areas and subsequent second surge. People of Louisiana, god you would really feel for them they've had such a terrible few years. Fingers crossed.
