Under the current lockdown, we got a strong smell of soot from our CH open fire this am so I have my rods and brush from my younger days and I supervised My poor wife
on how to sweep our chimnley 3\4 of a bin bag of the black soot came down, more than the last sweep ever got .....
Using an old Dyson got the rest up gone straight on the garden border ....
That keeps you fit ..,...
Shower needed now.......

we'll be seeing 1000 deaths a day by next week, by the end of April could be around 5000 a day.

Won’t be anywhere near 5k/day. I think it will probably peak around 1k/day for a week or so but we are pretty much at peak growth rate right now.

Indeed. I know (what seems like an absolute age ago - what the heck is going on with sense of time at the moment?), Witty said that lockdowns had to be used sparingly because people tend to get bored of them and start to disobey instructions after a while. We're due to have lovely weather this weekend, so it will be interesting to see if people stay at home or play silly sods.

I do think this is a concern with the lockdown as time goes on . I understand the theory and I’m not advocating breaking it but I do think it stretches at the seams as the days pass .

Saw a couple of pcso’s walking together and regularly see a couple of coppers in a car together so I’m presuming they know something we don’t about social distancing .
