He knows the league, has managed in it for years, has worked with limited resources, has full control of the Club, a loyalty with the club and chairman, a brand of football, other managers rate him (fergie does especially) and he conducts himself well. Was a big part in laying foundations of a style at Swansea.

His style of football is progressive but he's not afraid to have the team work and roll its sleeves up.

That's my view on him. I know what I'm getting and it fits with the club.

Everyone else I'd be worried as a unknown quantity.

He turned the RS and Villa down anyway. It's nailed on he wants the everton job.

He is always at the bottom of the table tho? he not really done anything special, what his tranfers like by the way?

the only person BK can give it to is round, martinez and poyet would want some sort of money to build the sides and style of player they want.

This time last year, this discussion would have had Lambert & Rodgers at the top of many Blues lists, so it shows what a lottery it is in getting 'the right man'.

Didn't stop the RS making him number 1 target I am the summer though did it.

He's kept a prem team in the prem will a style of football within a budget with a club that doesn't make much money and a small fan base. It's also a massive change in terms of style from when Bruce was in charge and a smaller budget.

Spot on. Managers are flavour of the month. I hope Moyes stays but I think he will go to Germany. Better structured league where his style of management could flourish. I cannot see him being happy at a City or Chelsea.

Kenwright and co will go for anyone who has form NOT rocking the boat, who is a safe pair of hands in terms of keeping schtum about internal goings on at the club. That'll be the priority. If that person can also manage, that'll be a bonus.

Ladies and Gentlemen. The next manager of Everton Football Club; Philip Neville.

There really, truly, honestly is no point in even speculating about anyone else. It's as close to the 'sure thing' as I've ever seen in football.

Big Roberto in a nutshell. Him and Mr JJB have a Kenwright /Moyes style relationship and he never gives his board a bollocking

There is no excuse for this. Any club worth it's salt would buy him Out anyway. All he's done is destabilise he club to safeguard being more attractive financially to the likes of Dortmund when they at scouting ar
