Now I know this would never, ever, ev-errrr happen but could you imagine if Mourinho was to leave Madrid at the end of the season and we could offer him a one year rolling deal on whatever money we're offering Moyes? It'd be one hell of a ride, even if it lasted only a season. It'd inspire the players and be a great statement of intent from the board. He could have a decent job in the Premier league while waiting for United/City jobs to become available, while we'd have an amazing season.

As I say I know this would never ever happen. Be boss if if did though.

i wouldn't say never ever, ev-errrr

I just hope we're already looking for his replacement...

This is the rub - Moyes has played it for his own benefit and not the clubs.

If he come out and definitively said what would make his mind up ie cup or CL makes him deffo stay then fair enough - he hasn't.

Not for a moment I think he will stay - running his contract into the last year was a bit of a clue. He'll be our Benitez a constant thorn in the new man's side unless he hits the ground running.

First of all, United wouldn't take him.

Secondly, whats wrong with him going there ?

hah beat me to it - both points. i quite like united now, mind you , they've only gone up in my estimation because of their rivals. suppose i respect them more now than when i was younger
