Bilyaletdinov - OUT

Another lacklustre performance once again. No interest at all in the game, no passion whatsoever. This is happening far too regularly these days. Would happily sell him in January for a decent price (£6/7m?). Has to be one of Moyes' biggest flops.

I do have to wonder what people see when they watch Bily play, for me, the passion is there for all to see.

No one looks more disappointed to make a mistake in my opinion.

What can't be questioned is the fact that he still looks uncomfortable, whether that's nerves, the pace of the game, or a personal battle to meet the expectation that comes with his price tag, is anyone's guess.

Lack of passion/interest is a pretty unfair assessment of the man though.

AS.

Used to have a very legit looking Diniyar Bilyaletdinov on my Facebook friends list.

However the account has recently been taken down...

Wonder if there are any links between this and his current crisis of confidence...

Can't have helped having people post all over his wall 'YOU'RE FU**ING S**T BILY LAD!' every week.

:(

Was it you writing that then?

Bye Bily, take Pienaar with you, and if we get a used set of cones for the real first team to run around in training then we shall be considered robbers.

The deer in headlights analogy has been thrown his way quite a few times , I've noticed. But to me, every appearance by Billy looks likes it's his début. He looks lost, out of his depth unaware of the game around him and off the pace. Constantly being told where to run to and where to pass - mostly by the crowd around him !

It's been a year since the arrival of Billy and to me nothing has changed. I truly believe what we have with Billy is what we've got. Even if he was to be played in his more accustomed central midfield role, I still don't think he'd be Premiership quality.

I think he would thrive in another league given time - just sadly, not this one :(

Loving the opinions in here.

I like Billy. He reminds me of me. Not very quick, can quite honestly look abit rubbish, but the kind of player if on form, will absolutely terrorize you.

Horses for courses is our Billy. Moyes is learning where and when to play him.

If Bily was to get a run of games like a lot of people are asking in here and we lost the lot, and it cost us a top four/Europa place, what then?

Had Billy not scored the goals he did against Villa in that 1-1 draw, in that 2-2 draw against west ham, against wolves in that 1-1 draw,in that 1-1 draw against brum and that fantastic winner against portsmouth then thats 11 points we would hav lost and that could have meant that we finish in bottom half around 11th place so do I really don't agreee with your point that we should leave Billy out just cos of his bad form. Did we leave Cahill out when he was literally [Poor language removed] for a long time last season and didn't do what he does best....scoring goals??? No, we didn't cos that's stupid. You can leave out hibbert, osman cos hibbert wont go forward and osman wont score many goals but they are in there cos of their loyalty and that should stop if you want to cimb places.

Billy scored twice the goals osman did and is far better technically. Just cos he's lacking in confidence by not playing many games doesn't mean we start firing guns at him. Yak was poor for a long time, so was Cahill, Distin to an extent still is, howard made a couple of errors this season, strikers not scoring goals so why don't you rather say that we remove them all cos they MIGHT COST US PLACES.

You don't do that...when you believe in players then you back them!

Thats the point, I don't believe in him, too much of a liability for reasons already said on here. He will always divide opinions on here due to his frustratingly erratic talent. Unfortunately, that is what it is, erratic. The likes of Cahill et al, all go through a lack of form, not as often as Bily though. Nice lad, and I know it hurts him when he doesn't play well or gives a misguided pass, you can see it in his face. Maybe thats in his makeup, but you need to be tougher in the Prem.

And I am a huge Billy fan and will back him as long as he is at everton...there's that divide you're talking about. Billy was in a good form last season when he should not have been cos he didn't have a break and was like playing two seasons in a row. This time, it's just been 10 games now and he had a great pre season. So it's just the confidence thing. If you believe in Moyes then you believe in his signings. He won't pay 10 M for fun. He'll come good and when he does...he'll be ace

I believe in Moyes to the nth degree, that is why Bily is on the bench!
