I'll give stick out to anyone that deserves it my friend. It's just that the thread is about Bily, were it to be about anotherplayer and he was gash, then I'd post in that one too. Just a thought.

Beckford, Saha, Arteta were all gash for me yesterday but I wouldn't wana see a " beckford out" thread or a " saha out thread"

It's about backing players when they are down, specially when you believe in them. If you don't believe in Billy after all he did last season then I'd be shocked. Similarly, I believe in Saha for obvious reasons and as for Becks...I believe in him cos I believe in Moyes.

IMO, we give Billy alot more stick then he deserves! People want him out? That's a shocker! He's a cracking player...just wait and see

I think Moyes should realise that our dear Билялетдинов just isn't a supersub/impact kind of player. The subs against the seasiders were terrible, they added nothing to the game and we all looked so distraught, tired and unorganized in the last half hour. Billy ain't quick, but he's smart and skilled. Compared to peanut he might just be lacking that important part called speed, but he makes up with way better crosses and shots. Notice how nuts never scores goals? Billy has that in him. He just needs a couple of them first to get going. And it doesn't look lik he's gonna get them when he's in the middle of a shambling team with his confidence shot already, christ i admit it's a sad sight but it's not like the kid can't produce.

We got sick pace in Seamus and Baines, probably Gueye too. Put them wide, have them cut in, make Billy keep ball (which he does just as well as Pienaar if not better) and thread it through for an intelligent run. Keep the ball on the ground against Bolton, let the kid start, for ****'s sake we can't afford to be calling for billy's exit, can we?

I have said it before, I like Billy, I think given a run he would prove to be a decent player, hes shown glimpses of passes and goals that are way ahead even Arteta and Pienaar in vision, sadly I fear we will lose him and always cry "what might have been"

Seconded.

I'd just like to add that whilst Heitinga is waxing lyrical about how he'd love to be at another club & Pienaar is seemingly taking our wage structure to court, Billy seems to just be getting on with being an Everton player, celebrating fondly when we score and looking gutted when he doesn't play what we want.

I know nice guys finish last etc, but it's not like he's being a tit and then putting in these performances.

Give him a run, Moyes.

THIS - he has never been given a decent run in the side. He must have felt gutted to have been dropped for Piennar with him clearly not playing for the team but to be in the shopping window. I really don't understand Moyes here.

.

decent point, he does have a good attitude

Moyes doesn't rate him, I think that much is obvious. He couldn't even get in ahead of Osman and Anichebe, nevermind Coleman and Donovan. I struggle to see where he's going to get into the the team and get a run in the side really. We aren't playing in the Europa League (which he benefitted from last season) and we've been knocked out of the League cup. I'm guessing Moyes will want to play his strongest team in the FA cup, and he doesn't have to rotate much in the League either.

Unless we have an injury crisis in midfield positions, Bilyaletdinov will find himself on the bench more often than not.
