Bilyaletdinov - OUT

I seriously just don't get what's happened to him here.....he appears to be stuck in 2nd gear. Have a run lad! Wonder strikes aside, is he out of his depth? Or just the prem doesn't suit him? He's obviously a very capable player, just wish we knew when he was going to score a ripper. Play him then. Otherwise, bench really isn't it. I was looking forward to seeing a "fit and rested" Bily this year, not quite happened huh. Still, I hope it does. I really do

Well I am questioning my own thoughts now, utter rubbish last night, played at one pace, mainly walking. I still think his position is behind the striker, central but I guess hes never going to shift Cahill, I think Moyes is playing him out of position.

Which in itself lies a question of why moyes bought him if hes playing him out of position and why he doesnt rotate cahill and bily as im sure cahill will last longer if he is rested more?

I dont think its all to blame on bily as moyes has bought him and played him out of position which he obviously isnt comfortable playing there

That's what I'm hoping too, to be honest. Where to play him huh.

Not sure why, but I have a lot of time and faith in Bily, more than a lot of our players. I think it's the fact he scores awesome goals. I'm a sucker for that. Sadly

I'm starting to agree with those who say he should be moved on. Granted I did not see yesterdays game, but it seems like he is lost. However Arteta has not been playing well for the last couple of games and still starts, but Bilayletdinov has never grapped one of the chances he has been given even if it is the odd game. He will be on the bench against the Gunners I think.

If he can be sold to fund some of the Donovan transfer, then we should do it.
Unfortunately he's gone backwards since last year, not forwards. No agression, no passion. We need players to raise their game, and he is not doing it. I think it's the classic case of a player not settling in unfortunately.

He's taken a backwards step from last year, which is astounding.

If Moyes doesn't sell him in Jan I'll be amazed. And if he doesn't, and Pienaar leaves, we could be forced to start Bily every game. Something which could be tantamount to playing with 10 men, if he continues like this.

He's got the talent, no doubt, but he's got no confidence and he's too slow for the prem imo. He was always the one yesterday to end our passing moves, by not being on the same wavelength, or playing a sloppy pass. It's a shame, it really is.

Ok i agree to some certain point, but i still believe in him. The lad hasn´t played from the start for a long time, you can´t expect him to be match fit. The passes from Arteta wasn´t the best ones.. He´s out of form. Pienaar playes well, but where is the goals from him? And are the last pass really that good? Bilya is always trying to get the goal, that is more than you can say of half of the team right now. And of course he is nervous, this is what he feels is his big chance to do some difference, in a frustrating game where bolton had 8 man i defence-lineup.
We didn´t like Fellaini for a long time, look at us now.

What type of player is he if he isn't a winger? we have a ' in the hole' cahill, who fits that perfectly, we have a playmaker in Arterta. We have a playermaker in Felliani.. .i just dont think he fits in.

To be fair you can see him offering something different to cahill, creativity and vision rather than strength and bein a fox in the box...

Will never happen cos cahill is undroppable

fair point, but if Cahill fits that spot perfect - then why drop him? i see us playing to his strengths. Which may be to the detriment of the team, and in some cases players.
