Bilyaletdinov - OUT

I agree. Since he had that groin strain last season he's (billy) rarely taken corners.

Its one thing Everton really do need to improve on and needs sorting. Arteta should stick to free kicks and penalties and leave corners unless they're short ones - to someone else.

He'd be much better taking shots from second balls or short corners.

(aka Donovan) but there's defo room for Billy at Everton as someone with as sweet a left foot as billy - are hard to find.

I bet you £100 that when Arteta plays again he goes straight back on to corner taking duty.

Wanna take that bet?

I'f i'm wrong i'll just take funds from the "Coleman will definatly play on Saturday" pot.

And look who has been playing regularly since.... Coleman

WATCH THIS SPACE lid

It might not happen against Stoke. But it will. It will.

Yeah. At right midfield.

Not right back where you said he would start if fit.

He didn't start.

You looked like a tit.

So you don't wanna take that bet then?

Whats up, don't believe Moyes will see what you see and tell Arteta his corners are [Poor language removed] and to leave them to Baines.

Arteta's corners and free kicks are shameful nowadays. And it's usually the same problem -- not getting past the first man.

Maybe I'm oversimplifying it, but why doesn't he just hit them a bit higher...?

Anyway, Baines needs to be on them. His delivery is the epitome of consistency. But I do think Moyes will hand the duty back to Arteta, sadly.

Bily is garbage moyes must have been high when he paid nearly 10 million for him.
Bily will never make it in the prem too slow and lazy and how anyone can stick up for him beats me

Considering the SERIOUS lack of form and confidence Bily has been suffering from this year, I take today's run out as a great improvement. He wasn't GREAT but he wasn't bad. He gave effort (at times I wished he would run at the ball a little quicker) but he did well. He put in a solid shift, he doesn't deserve any crap today.

That being said, I was SHOCKED when I saw that Pienaar was moved inside to replace arteta instead of giving bily a shot there. Why move 2 players out of position (Bily and Pienaar) when injuries were allowing you to try and play both in their more natural roles (Pienaar on the left and Bily in the center with Cahill and heitinga). Worst case scenario, you give that lineup a shot and if we are getting exposed in the middle, you have them switch. But Pienaar and coleman running the flanks, and a center of cahill, yak and Bily could have been dangerous. Would have liked to see Moyes at least TRY it.

Lay off Bily today. Great chance for us to encourage the lad today.

I think the people who start these someone......out threads need to be banned ffs, we need to give the lad time he hasnt had a decent run of games yet and im sure when he does he will be awesome

A warning to everyone, the personal abuse and insults (as above) that have crept into a lot of posts on the forum from this point on will be infracted.

He did score seven for us last year and has occasional moments of pure genius. Patience ...

In the spirit of this thread - Cahill had an awful, awful game today. Make a "Cahill - OUT" thread.
Seriously, you guys... give him time. On todays performance - as i said in another thread - have that been another player - you would've rioted, but given it was Billy - give him stick, sure. A solid, albeit average, performance. How many games has he played this year for us, by the way? And i mean not in the last 5 minutes of the game.

Bottom line - if Moyes bought him for that kind of money he must have seen something special in him.

Exactly this.

Another lacklustre performance once again. No interest at all in the game, no passion whatsoever. This is happening far too regularly these days. Would happily sell him in January for a decent price (£6/7m?). Has to be one of Moyes' biggest flops.

Its a confidence thing .

Bily will be fine , when the team keeps winning , he gets game time and will flourish .

I said to me cousin before , that if that Man Utd goal he scored , happened today , he wouldn't have hit it . He'd have taken another 2/3 steps cause hes saecond guessing himself . Trying too hard , in short .

He'll be laffin' .

Stand on ya' Uncle L.C.A.B.
