never heard so much ****e ,he wont run for fergie ,hows he going to run for moyes . lazy lazy man, ye just what we want with the amount of pace in r team, oh and 85 bags a week

He's the league's joint top scorer FFS. What does it matter if he runs around or not as long as he does the business in front of goal?

So he's too good for us and we'd have no chance of getting him but he's too slow and wouldn't improve us?

He's twice as good as any of our strikers, its just not relevant to discuss a player who (Though obviously would improve us) is quite clearly out of our wage / ambition / price range.

He's 31. It would appear that his career has peaked. A move to Tottenham wouldn't be unfeasible. We compete with Spurs most of the time for players. If there was a chance of pulling it off, why wouldn't we throw our hat in the ring? Kanchelskis was too good for us when he left United. Redknapp probably thought he had little chance of signing Van der Vaart. Bergkamp to Arsenal was another that raised eyebrows. If we want to try and steal a few places in the league, we need to look at trying to pull of audacious transfers.

Easy there Tiger. Just commenting on the average age of the squad, tis all.

He would be an exception to the general rule. We could look at moving Saha on and bringing in someone younger to balance it out. At this stage of his career, it wouldn't compare to the signings of Ginola or Gascoigne. It would be more like taking Beardsley.

Moyes would try to stamp out his lazyness, but in all honesty wouldn't a lot of top calibre teams want him.

I don't think that Ferguson would sell to his closest rivals. His age would also be a factor. If Rodwell is Old Trafford-bound, it would give us a bargaining chip.

The fact is we need someone to put away our chances and someone who is not injury prone. Owen as been mentioned a lot,but with our injury record and squad size we need someone who is fairly reliable, Robbie Keane or Berbatov will score goals and usually stay fit.

If he can't do the biz at Man Utd, what chance elsewhere. Bought as some RVN/Solskjaar replacement that has scored but not consistently. Not fast, not strong not great at heading. Pass.

I'll just let the stats do the talking. 41 goals in 96 appearances for United. 48 goals in 77 games for Bulgaria. 27 goals in 70 games for Spurs. At worst he's a 1 in 3 player.
