it's a shame that Beni and Tom Cleverly didn't play for us at the same time in the first team otherwise we could say that we had Beni and TC in midfield

Weirdly enough i wasnt impressed with him today compared to prior matches. I thought with gana on the pitch we looked a lot better and played higher up. Our high press dissolved when he went off, and it was just wave after wave of attack after that.
I don't think he had a poor game by any stretch of the imagination, however I do feel some of the claims of a great game are perplexing.

But chalkboards consistently say he is playing more on the half-line rather than behind.
I stand by my view, he is not a deep-lying midfielder. He is what people called an "advanced DMC" - he sits high on the pitch to press the opposition, and forces turnovers in dangerous positions, but with the ball he would mainly delegate the job to more creative players.

I think Beni is still developing as a player so hard to say what sort of player he is or will become. When he first broke into the U23s he was very much a defensive player - win ball and pass to nearest player - but this season, with Walsh away on his ill-fated loan and Davies a regular with the 1st team, his game has expanded with more forward passes and forward runs with the ball. In the 1st team I think he's reverted to his early games at the lower level, probably under instructions.

Looks cool and composed to me. Still developing physically, as well as a player, so needs to be handled carefully. Should have a great future.

I like the kid a lot. He seems to encompass some of the best aspects of both Schneiderlin and Gueye in that he likes a tackle/interceptions but is also quite comfortable on the ball.

Davies is having a bit of a dip presently (nothing to worry about massively, similar to Holgate last year when sides work you out a bit and you need time to learn from it) but this lad seems to keep the game simple and could get some minutes over the forthcoming weeks.

Been impressed up to now with him but not yesterday thou looked like he was struggling to run ? are we expecting to much of these kids to come on in matches against top teams ,after only playing a few games

Thought he looked a bit off yesterday, probably not mentally prepared to play and thrown in a tough situation against a great attacking side. Thought there was a noticeable drop after Gueye was off, but i’m not worried going forward as his previous performances were fine

I am miffed by the mixed review on Beni, the lad has so much in his locker at 19, he oozes talent, a couple of years of proper coaching and we have such a talented player on our hands.

He is raw very raw from and has a couple of coaching perspective, but you can see the talent a mile of, what he needs to learn can all be coached and comes with experience. Really impressed and excited by him.

Seems to lack urgency, was jogging around midfield ,instead of closing at pace. need to see more of him because he has talent obviously.

I am really looking forward to more more of these kids getting their chance. Williams looks a real tidy player too!
