Turns out that Arsenal dominated according to MOTD
Arsenal v Everton
11 shots v 12
5 on target v 4
Not too much of a stretch to think in a highlights show like that with 2 games for the whole program... They could of fitted in a fairly even amount from that regardless of the quality of our chances.

Thought of this forum when I watched the opening bit with the writing...
Arsenal .. Consistency and domination
Everton Shrewd and over achievement
You would of thought they could of come up with something a little better than that wouldn't you?
Agreed on all points.A few observations:
1) Ross Barkley - Wow !!!
2) McCarthy/Barry tandem - Wow !!!
3) Pienaar - Great match
4) Lukaku - A bit subdued but credit Mertesacker. Best I've seen a CB play against him this season.
5) Osman - That ball to Mirallas !!! Sublime.
6) Everton as a whole - No fear at all and took the match to them. Total domination the first 20 minutes plus.
7) Deulofeu - What a goal !!!
8) Coleman/Oviedo - Massively involved getting forward.
9) Howard - Could be having his best year ever for Everton.
In short, that was the best I've ever seen Everton play in my 14 years of supporting them. Roberto Martinez is one hell of a manager. Let's see if we can not only hold on to him, Barkley, & Baines, but get Lukaku, Barry, and Deulofeu to sign on for another year.
You wanna talk about top four or title contenders, YOU MUST include Everton in those conversations after that performance. You must.
I must say, 2 points about the media coverage.
a ) it really doesn't make much difference. Some aren't giving us much credit, others saying we're boss.
b ) people are reading far too much into it.
Agreed on all points.
Howard is enjoying a genuine renaissance, might possibly be the best he's ever played, even his dreaded kicking is so, so much improved. Credit Inaki Bergara?
