motd completete missed everton in the first half typical

Cause it doesn't fit the narrative.

Can't be having Arsenal dominated at Emirates by anyone much less Everton in any media.

Try finding it on the internet. It's impossible.

Kinda like looking up Tiananmen Square in China. Doesn't exist.

Great point that! Does anyone else think Lukaku is slightly overrated? As I don't think he is probably good enough to play for Chelsea in my opinion. Don't get me wrong he scores the goals which is what you want but I don't think he does much else to be honest. Thought he was very poor then

I can't think of any crosses or through balls that he could reasonably have been expected to score from. Maybe one.

The bizarre thing was that when they scored my biggest upset was that I knew we'd only leave there with a point, even that late in the game I was 100% certain that we'd get one back. I can't remember ever being this confident in Everton, even during the golden years of the 1980s.

The simple fact is that we're not plucky little Everton, the dogs of war or punching above our weight, we're actually the real deal and playing the sort of football that the rest of the Premiership can only aspire to and people away from 0151 are starting to take notice. I've even read today that we're starting to become everyone's "second favourite team". Yes that's right, Everton are to the PL what Brazil are to international soccer!

COYB!!!!!!!!!!!

Not to take any credit from Everton. But you dominated possession, not chances created.

We own you now. We can take any player we want from you and refer to you as our b*tches.

The wider footballing world seen what happened out on your pitch, it was rape.

I would agree if you won, and if Girouds shot had gone in we would own you. Since its a draw no one owns anyone until our next meeting

Mate we are just happy that we are actually playing football and good stuff now. Who would of thought Everton could go to your gaff and actually play like that. Shows the different attitudes between our present and past managers.

**** me Arsene, you have the patience of a saint on here :) I dont think anyone owned anyone... but the first time in as many years I can remember we are going to top 4 grounds and going toe to toe with them. And I dont mean playing a 10 men + the kitchen sink, backs to the walls, against the ropes for 89 minutes toe-for-toe which was often moyes's speciality.... but going to the emirates and the old trafford and actually playing football around supposed title challengers.

I would have been happy enough with defeat yesterday if that screamer had have been the winner... would have been a goal worthy of winning any match. But to say it needed something THAT special to win the match speaks volumes about how far we have come. (Don't think Lukaku's effort just before it would ever have been forgotten if he had connected a little better either!)
