I didn't say he was the weakest link. Said he was a weak link and tbf I'm sure that was him getting skinned on our goal. I thought arsenal fans had a clue. I was wrong.

It is you who has no clue whatsoever. He had Coleman running alongside him. If he committed into a tackle the Spaniard would just pass it to who him.

Gibbs has been one of our best players this season. You wouldn't know this as you don't watch him week in week out. Tell you what. Your team played excellently and got a draw. Be happy with that instead of talking sh'it.

While I was impressed with Everton and how they played. I think some of you Evertonians are getting carried away. You held on to the ball very well for the first 25 mins or so. But Arsenal were fairly comfortably in the sense that you guys weren't creating much. In fact, you could've been 2 down by half time.
You must certainly did not put on a "footballing lesson" as some of you believe.

The thing with this Arsenal side nowadays is that they're not a possession orientated. Southampton had more of the ball than us at the Emirates 2 weeks ago. And we know what happened that game.

Behave yourself you mug. The possesion stats at that point werew 77% to us.

Why are you trying to suggest that Arsenal dont like playing football and are a counter attacking side?

Why cant you just admit that no one has done that to you in your own back yard for a long time.

We did need to create more chances - clear cut chances but the result was a fair one in the end.

What youve got to remember...Your manager has been there for donkeys years and your whole phylosophy is embedded in the club.

Our manager has been here six months and has got us playing football the likes of which and entire generation has never seen. So please feel free to do one if you dont like being on an Everton forum were Everton fans are full of hope and Optimism for the first time in about 30 years!

The world seen Everton yesterday and what were all about now.

The result for me was irrelevant. At half time i was happy we had turned up and expressed ourselves and showed everyone what were all about. Its like watching football porn atm watching the blue boys.

Not to take any credit from Everton. But you dominated possession, not chances created.

...I do think this is an important point. We have had a brilliant week, but the first half dominance at Emirates was not reflected in chances. We are still in transition and that is the next challenge. Gary Neville was eulogising about Lukaku's runs, but we were not able to put him in. I fear that might be why the next month or so will be still be difficult. Once we learn to put the big fella in more regularly with a well timed decisive through ball, we truly will be beating the top sides on a regular basis.

Lots of praise on radio this morning, particularly pundits talking about Gerry. The secret is out but he's still ours for a few months. Great times and delighted for you folk who fully deserve it.

Arsenal play football, yes. But they aren't a possession based side. We barely got out of second gear yesterday and nearly won.

As I said, not taking anything away from Everton. And I do respect the fact you're hopeful. Just don't try to paint things differently than they were.
Dominating possession means very little if you're not creating chances.

You had 5 shots on target to our 4 FFS

Not like you were battering us in regards to the shot clock

Seriously?

Who are you trying to kid? Yourself?

This sort of stuff I am now reading in the press is...is... {just shakes head}

Everton have moved forward under Roberto Martinez. Playing good football and looking very solid. They have lost just 1 game this season, remember. With his style of play, tactics and ability to run a football club, not just the team, a couple of good years at Everton and I could certainly see Martinez being in the frame for the Arsenal job.
