ha, NEA, i watched the united game the day after and they managed to make it look like we were dominated. same with the derby where they missed out a lot of our chances. all that matters is the points at the end of the day.

but like brennan says, we dominated possession but didn't create much, whereas at OT we got in loads of brilliant positions, but the last ball let us down - these things aren't worthy of a highlights reel.

Not too much of a stretch to think in a highlights show like that with 2 games for the whole program... They could of fitted in a fairly even amount from that regardless of the quality of our chances.

Just an update on the 'big 7s' results against each other thus far this season

Everton played 5 ( only Arsenal left) pts =8
Arsenal played only 3 pts = 6
Liverpool played 3 pts= 4
Spurs played 5 pts =3
City played 4 pts =9
United played all 6 pts = 5 (!!!) typical Moyes-type bottling against the big boys
Chelsea played 4 pts=5

Max possible 18 points. If we could get a draw that would be a 50% return...pretty damn good when looked at relatively to our competitors for a CL spot.
PS : do nopt mean to be demeaning to the tonns and (particularly Southampton) but recent results put them a bit behind the 8 ball.

This is exactly it. Look at Liverpool, apart from the odd blip (hull) they basically just batter the routine teams at home. We've struggled doing that previous years and that's what we need to aspire to. Scoring 4 last week was a complete surprise and rarity for us while they do it regularly. It needs to become routine for us too

Smaller teams like Liverpool can often do that, but fold when they come up against quality
