brilliant analogy of sagna and ozil. Mertesacker and koscielny are good centre backs, but they are both prone to cock-ups. Only remember the first game this season where that happened, due some? lukaku coluld be a right handfull against them.

if barkley is indeed rotated, i would rather see mirallas in the centre with pienaar left and delafeou right running at gibbs, reckon that could be a battle he'd win as i don't rate gibbs massively defensively. maybe it'll be monrael?

He's been very clever with Osman lately has our Boberto. Brought him on last night at the perfect time and was key in certain passages of play. I don't think he will start him Sunday mind, but its nice for a change to have a few conundrums on who he could play. 5-0 to the Blues I reckon but I'm still slightly pissed from last night

Just watched Arse v Hull. They are a very good side with various runners creating various avenues for accurate distribution at pace. Ozil and Ramsey are particularly fabulous. Suspect a loss here as I think the emotions post the Manc victory will leave us a little flat. People like McCarthy will be a little knackered. The loss of Gibbo tells at times like this. Need to rotate the Barry-McCarthy engine for mental and physical freshness. I note Wenger rested some of his guns v Hull so think they will be fresher.
Predict 3-1 to them but hope like hell I am full of ****e

Extra days rest, late kick off....players will be fine mate. Nothing like beating the mancs on their own patch of stink to give the boys some energy. If we get beat it will be because they deserve it. I don't think it will be because we are flat and lacking energy. Just my opinion though mate. What a great chance to go there and enjoy ourselves again with 6 points already in the bag this week

Personally, I think if we beat Arsenal, it's pretty much nailed on that the sh*te won't finish be finishing above Everton this season, let alone Arsenal.

Just an update on the 'big 7s' results against each other thus far this season

Everton played 5 ( only Arsenal left) pts =8
Arsenal played only 3 pts = 6
Liverpool played 3 pts= 4
Spurs played 5 pts =3
City played 4 pts =9
United played all 6 pts = 5 (!!!) typical Moyes-type bottling against the big boys
Chelsea played 4 pts=5

Max possible 18 points. If we could get a draw that would be a 50% return...pretty damn good when looked at relatively to our competitors for a CL spot.
PS : do nopt mean to be demeaning to the tonns and (particularly Southampton) but recent results put them a bit behind the 8 ball.
