Always had a soft spot for you lot since you broke liverpools hearts the last kick of the season :)

As others have said mate, stick around, always good to get the perspective of the other teams fans, specially ones that seem balanced :)

26th of May 1989.

Greatest single day of my footballing life (y)

Difference between us and Liverpool that game.

Compare our attitude to Liverpools. Liverpool lost 2-0 with a David Moyes' Everton like performance.

Liverpool went there (well, their fans did at any rate) with the attitude that they were going to give the Gunners a 'football lesson' and win the game comfortably.

All mouth again.

I'm a young Blue, I've watched the Toffees only through the Premiership years (mainly from 04 onwards) and this is by far the most exciting side we've had. I think the thing that makes this team the cream of the crop has to bee the fact that give Lukaku a sniff, he punishes you. We have a consistent centre forward, who will finish any chance that comes in his way. In the past, we'd have stuck 10 men behind the ball and hoped for a set piece to give us a chance to nick something. But this current group feel they can beat anyone and this emotion is shared by all the fans. It's not arrogance or over confidence; it's belief and excitement and we're evolving drastically week in week out. What Roberto has done has implanted a strong possession based philosophy upon the team but I think the most dramatic change he has made to the team is he has given the team and the club enormous confidence.

Never in my lifetime have I seen an Everton team who I genuinely believe can shoot down the big guns and achieve something. Everton, for the first time in a long time, have a team that can do something this year and contribute to the great history our club possesses in abundance.
I've waffled on too much today so I'll zip up now.

was heading home from the in-laws in Phoenix (a boring 100+ mile trek), Aerosmith singing about a cross-dresser on the radio when I refreshed my iphone facebook feed and saw the GOT post on the equalizer.

Starting singing along in the truck, "Deu... Deu... Deulofeu Baby!"

Sure, perilously close to the Human League Ovie chant... but fit the moment perfectly.

SO fired up about this team is playing. Seems like it wasn't terribly long ago that a couple folks 'round these parts were worrying if 38 points would be enough to avoid relegation. Now we're talking a shot at the CL.

Love this club, seems a magic season.

Loads of pundits and Arsenal players alike saying that was Arsenal's toughest game of the year. High praise indeed.

Just hope we keep this going in the next few busy weeks. Eminently winnable games, no reason we can't continue.

To the Arsenal fans posting on here, what do you make of Wilshere?

IMO he's obviously very, VERY talented and fits in well with the Arsenal style of play, but he's too injury prone to ever be a truly great player (unless he stays fit obviously). The fella's got ankles like glass and I just wonder whether that stops him being 100% in all challenges. Also, he seems like a massive cock and I just wonder whether there's an attitude problem there.

I personally think Wilshire is ****e. Barkley was 10 times better than him today, and he's nearly two years younger and with much less Premier League experience.

With the games arsenal and Liverpool have coming up it is I'd say 50/50 we'll be top by the new year. Just reflect on that

phenomenal performance and truly a great week as most weeks are good or bad to support everton, not many teams will go there and do what we did today, hopefully, any litle doubt about our boss is well now and truly gone, still trying to win it even after we got that late leveller today, not many would try and go on and win, others would just hold on for the dra etc

I thought we outplayed Arsenal for most of the game. They had their patches of dominance but were a bit stuffy with their goal. Always felt we would get one back and disappointed we didn't get a winner tbh. I don't think i could have written this in the last 11 years............

Absolutely brilliant. Martinez is a genius. Strange feeling this - watching footy and actually not fearing a webbing from a top team.

Class players all over the pitch. A manager that comes across better each time he's on.

Just brilliant.
