Absolutely brilliant. Martinez is a genius. Strange feeling this - watching footy and actually not fearing a webbing from a top team.

Class players all over the pitch. A manager that comes across better each time he's on.

Just brilliant.

This.

As a blue who's grown up knowing only Moyes and mediocrity it's great to see us playing well and not fearing anything or anyone.

Viva Roberto.

To the Arsenal fans posting on here, what do you make of Wilshere?

IMO he's obviously very, VERY talented and fits in well with the Arsenal style of play, but he's too injury prone to ever be a truly great player (unless he stays fit obviously). The fella's got ankles like glass and I just wonder whether that stops him being 100% in all challenges. Also, he seems like a massive cock and I just wonder whether there's an attitude problem there.

He's never really gotten back to full fitness since the ankle problems, was almost there last season but then missed another large chunk out again when he needed to have the screws removed and replaced in the ankles.

My only worries about him are fitness wise, if he can get back to full fitness he'll be a great player. At the moment he's operating about 60-70% of his potential, he's not got that little burst of pace he had to get past players that he had previously and his touch and passing are not where they were pre injury.

But we've seen it with Ramsey & Rosicky that it can take years to get back to optimum level when you've been out as long as he has.

As for his temperament yeah he can be a bit spikey, but he also takes about as much punishment on the field as the rest of the team put together. Every game he plays he takes a sly little kick(like Coleman's today) and it's almost always on his ankles. There was a time last season where 3-4 players from the likes of Sunderland & Stoke were getting booked all for fouls on Wilshere.

So yeah i can understand him getting a little narky, but it's not gonna get any better as he has a rep now as someone who might respond so he's only just gonna have to get on with it. I can understand why everyone might think he's a little **** but i love the little guy and he'll be a great player if he can put his injuries fully behind him.

Fair comment. I'm not sure Wengers found the best position to use him in either tbh.

Fantastic afternoon at The Emirates. I was sat with some Arsenal supporters, one of whom has not missed an Arsenal game for years and he said the first 40 minutes of the first half, Everton played as well as he had ever seen Arsenal play.

Match days have become an almost totally new experience, the sheer joy of watching outstanding football from Everton is something which I experienced in the mid 80's but I'd forgotten how good it is to feel that way.

Even after we conceded there was no thought that we had lost the game, somehow we all knew we'd find a way back - and how!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Completely agree.

Going the match used to be a bit too much of a routine which, without meaning to sound ungrateful, was a bit too boring and predictable at times. Go to work, go home, go the match, get a chippy, see my girlfriend, meh.

Now I look forward to it from about Thursday night no matter who we're playing and spend the rest of the day chewing whoever will listen's ear off about the style of football we play.

Wonderful feeling.

Went the pub to watch the game (9am here) just got home, one of the best displays of football today I have seen in a long time, and I have been watching us a long time, no fear in this team you could not say that in the past

Well done BLUE boys

Yeah, when he was first in the team he played in the team he played the role Ramsey's playing this year and last year mainly in the role Ozil's now playing.

He's been steadily improving slowly as the season gone on, i'm just hoping he doesn't have another long termer this year.

someone made a good comment earlier about 'this whole last 4 games mean naught without following through the next 7 games'. All very winnable, but the team is going to come against others who park the bus. I think the thing that worked well lately is that again Liverpool, United and Arsenal they were looking to open up Everton also, allowing the team to do their things. These upcoming games are beyond vital(duh)
