So excited for Deulofeu's every appearance.

Image him and Mirallas both at the top of their game, at the same time.

Boh.

Whinging Wenger at it again. Our goal should have been disallowed because Luky was offside and committed a foul!! Blody Nora how pathatic, actually re their goal the chap who headed the ball onto Ozil, I thought was offside.

Also complained in the media that we were too physical.

What a ****. Watched it back loads and have no idea what he is on about unless Lukaku was offside before Barkley got the ball in midfield ages before the goal.

If anything it was Arsenal who continually committed cynical fouls to disturn the build up of play. This is shown in the stats as they committed more fouls then us. Unfortunatley the ref seemed to be looking for a new bedmate after Fergie's retirement and seemed intent on flirting with Wenger by booking a number of our players for far less then he was just awarding free kicks (if that) for Arsenal players

Great performance once again! Took the game to them and played to win! We matched them in all areas of the pitch and defensively we were great. Tim
Howard made some
Fantastic saves and I think the defence was solid. Gareth Barry was brilliant for me, the way he stops that ball from getting to the centre backs and breaks down play and restarts it. McCarthy was class again, all over the pitch getting stuck in. What a player we have. Oviedo was great again, done everything we could've asked of him, couple of lapses but other than that, played well. Coleman and Mirallas had good games as did Pienaar and Deulofeu. Ross Barkley just skipped past everybody like they didn't exist, played well and is getting better each game. Lukaku was alright, played a good game. It'll be good to see the highlights today at some point.

Great result.

What I loved most about it is our heads didn't drop when we conceded we played our game and this attacking football is the best in the league. We have every chance of champions league.

Wenger also complemented us - something he rarely does with Arsenal's opponents - and said we were simply better for most of the 1st half.

Can we give the whole "waaah Wenger said something bad about us" mentality a rest, please? It's like we're begging for everyone to accept us as the best team in history. We're getting a load of praise from loads of different media outlets today. Let's stop this facade that we're being picked on - all it's doing is adding to the "Everton are such plucky underdogs, look at 'em go!" image we're apparently so desperate to shake off.

Still buzzing at this game, strange thing to say for a draw.

We have:

The most in-form keeper (Howard) in the league.
The best pair of full backs (Coleman, Baines) in the league.
The absolute back up-and-coming central midfielder (Barkley) in the league.
One of the best young central midfielders (McCarthy) in the league.
The most exciting foreign youngster (Deulofeu) in the league for at least until end of the season.
The best young striker (Lukaku) in the league until end of the season.

- It's good to be a Blue.

Wilshere is a bang average player. Overhyped, Injury prone and is not in the same class as Barkley. Wilshere is a snide and just moans all game to the ref. Plays the big tough guy...would love for someone to go through him.

...he's clearly a talented boy, but his form and attitude after a succession of injuries leaves him some way adrift of the player we all thought he would be. He's got time on his side.

Granted, he clearly has some talent to be playing at Arsenal at 21. But even saying that, he is massively over hyped. Would he make our midfield at this present time? I don't think so, no. Maybe I have my blue tinted glasses on, but I think, Barkley has shown enough to be ahead of him for the World Cup already as it stands. The lad has a massive chip on his shoulder and genuinely plays like he's a big tough guy. The minute you touch him, he whinges to the ref. Constantly in the refs ear all game. He's a snide.

Wilshere bang average. Seriously, man, give your head a shake.

He's a clearly exceptionally talented footballer who is blighted by injury problems and a real whingey attitude.

I'd say he looks in a similar position to Ronaldo when he signed for Utd. Very slight, great feet and decision making needs a bit of work at times.

So, Utd had to keep Ronaldo for 6 years to turn him into the player that ended up going to Madrid... You guys are ok with that, right? :D

Should've seen that one coming

You think Wilshere's average?

I thought, even before his injury, that there was far too much hyperbole expressed over his game...Watching the cantera at Barcelona, as Pep once famously remarked, many Wilsheres can be seen - that's not an exaggeration...I never saw anything exceptional...But now since his injury?...He's a shadow of his old self and I've yet to even see a glimpse of his old form...I like him but I was never quite convinced before on him and his future before the injury but even more so now as I see tens of young midfielders today that are far superior to Jack

I just wonder if his career really will ever get back on track

But to the larger point, Barkley does look the business and it's nice to finally see that from an English footballer, tbh...Of course whether he will be properly used for The Three Lions is another matter altogether...I think him coming together with Martinez happens at an ideal time for his career too...His game is on the ascendency and if he stays with Roberto, could be big things

It is you who has no clue whatsoever. He had Coleman running alongside him. If he committed into a tackle the Spaniard would just pass it to who him.

Gibbs has been one of our best players this season. You wouldn't know this as you don't watch him week in week out. Tell you what. Your team played excellently and got a draw. Be happy with that instead of talking sh'it.

Skinned fact. Third/fourth choice for England. Third choice at everton. IMO he's over rated.
Lol and obviously you haven't watched us play every week, if you had you would know top quality full backs and wouldn't be so quick in your hyperbolic praise. Gibbs is not 'great'. Let's see what happens in your next two games, see how 'great' he is then.
