He's calling it down the middle as far as I see it mate

And yes, you are a guest here and you seem to be going out of your way to antagonise the forum regulars

Weird if you ask me, but hey ho

Says the guy who was insulting a whole fanbase earlier. Let me know when you got off that high horse yours.

I've been sucked into a couple of flame wars with the odd spaz or two. But I feel that I've been generally respectful enough to most guys on here.

Have to say I was mightily impressed by Everton in the first half. It was a tremendous defensive and midfield performance. Oviedo and Coleman, again, were outstanding. Actually think the only players who didn't look brilliant were Lukaku and Mirallas, and even they played their part.

MOM by a mile was rightly Barkley, but how good is it to see how well Jagielka is playing this past month? Thought he had a shakey start to the season and was made to look better than he was by Howard's form, but he's really improved of late and is back to his best. Ace.

You can't come on here and start calling people a spaz mate, that's not on.

I've reported this post, bit out of order.

Jeeze. I said the odd spazz man. Meaning one or two. Need to chill.

yer, meaning me which is why i keep neg repping you!

Like even your own fan has said - you didnt plan on playing 'counter attacking football' we were awesome first half and deserve credit for it.

Do you really think Arsene was sat in the dressing room and said 'right lads...heres the plan...i dont want you to touch the ball for the first 35 minutes or so'

Not how i see his team talk going if im honest

Excellent match which has become a familiar refrain whenever it comes to Everton b)

Thought, despite the draw, was a better or more impressive performance than the win at OT...Not too many sides come to Emirates and pin the Gunners back for long stretches of the match in the Premiership...If it wasn't already the case, no one will be unprepared for a visit from the Toffees going forward - their arrival as title contenders has come

Barkley, I've really only watched him once before with the England youth side against Spain but since the start of the season I've been very impressed with him...Atypical for what we normally see from an English midfielder...I was thinking during the 1st half how much hype Wilshere had heaped upon him prior to his injury and now I see a very average player...I hope something like that doesn't happen with Barkley, you lot are well aware, I'm sure, how much of a gem he is...Far from the finished product as he will still make poor choices at times but he's fearless and from what I can gather, a natural at the game...Watching Barcelona as much as I do and seeing youth players & talent all the time, the naturals always stick out...Ross has it...For me, he already should be leading that midfield for England in Brasil

I worry a little for you lot too since despite how excellent things look, a good deal is predicated on Barry, Lukalu & Gerard atm - all loanees...Barry in particular will be extremely difficult to replace...A striker & scoring winger probably will be easier, IMO

Really enjoy what Martinez has done with Everton and there's supreme confidence oozing from the players, even defensively...What a match from Howard...A lot of strong performances across the board, I'd save my biggest criticism for Pienaar, who again, for me, was underwhelming...Is this how he performs?...A great game and then a series of underwhelming ones?

In any event, lovely stuff, I was genuinely not expecting to see what I did

Deulofeu (y) Enjoy him

Thanks!

Barkley will need a couple of seasons to really mature, but you can see already the way he uses space, his two-footedness, and his attacking instincts give him every chance to really become something special.

I agree that Wilshire is over-rated. He's a good player, but only good in the "English" sense of the word. Decent in most aspects, but don't orchestrate the team around him.

Pienaar divides opinions. When others here say "fantastic" I often still see a player who is not quite on the same wavelength as the rest of his team mates and doesn't always spot the easier and better ball to play.

He's not the only one. Barcelona reckon he's Barcelona's next big thing too.

True true. The few times he has played with Barcelona's first team, he has looked a bit timid, tbh. I figured he needed much more time before he's comfortable, doing well in the Premiership will go a long ways in getting him there...perhaps sooner than later
