I have no qualms with you guys mate. It's just 1 or 2 clowns like that baker guy popping out the woodworks just cause I disagreed with a few posts.

popping up out of the woodwork? Not arsed about you disagreeing with a few points. Ive got an issue with you being a complete tw@t trying to pretend arsenal dont want the ball and are happy to defend at the emirates and hit teams on the counter.

Got a problem with you talking complete 5hite

Alright Wenger mate

haha This guy is quite clearly brain dead. Read my original post again you utter handicap. Hardly outrageous. I said Arsenal have done this numerous times at the Emirates. We've let teams like Southampton, Dortmund and Tottenham have the ball while staying compact and then trying to pick them off.

Mind you Everton have been the best team that have come down.

Excellent match which has become a familiar refrain whenever it comes to Everton b)

Thought, despite the draw, was a better or more impressive performance than the win at OT...Not too many sides come to Emirates and pin the Gunners back for long stretches of the match in the Premiership...If it wasn't already the case, no one will be unprepared for a visit from the Toffees going forward - their arrival as title contenders has come

Barkley, I've really only watched him once before with the England youth side against Spain but since the start of the season I've been very impressed with him...Atypical for what we normally see from an English midfielder...I was thinking during the 1st half how much hype Wilshere had heaped upon him prior to his injury and now I see a very average player...I hope something like that doesn't happen with Barkley, you lot are well aware, I'm sure, how much of a gem he is...Far from the finished product as he will still make poor choices at times but he's fearless and from what I can gather, a natural at the game...Watching Barcelona as much as I do and seeing youth players & talent all the time, the naturals always stick out...Ross has it...For me, he already should be leading that midfield for England in Brasil

I worry a little for you lot too since despite how excellent things look, a good deal is predicated on Barry, Lukalu & Gerard atm - all loanees...Barry in particular will be extremely difficult to replace...A striker & scoring winger probably will be easier, IMO

Really enjoy what Martinez has done with Everton and there's supreme confidence oozing from the players, even defensively...What a match from Howard...A lot of strong performances across the board, I'd save my biggest criticism for Pienaar, who again, for me, was underwhelming...Is this how he performs?...A great game and then a series of underwhelming ones?

In any event, lovely stuff, I was genuinely not expecting to see what I did

Deulofeu (y) Enjoy him

Really surprised there's any arsenal fans trying to blame Gibbs for that goal tbf. Sometimes you just have to say "that's too good"... and imho, that goal from Gerard was exactly that.

Gibbs thinks he's pushing him wider and wider there, and out of an imminently dangerous area - which he was. Deulofeu really has no right to ping that where he does, so quickly and with so little back lift.

Just a quality, quality finish.

Barry is actually the one I'm least worried about. Can almost guarantee we'll sign him on a permanent in the summer - he's out of contract at Man City.

Deulofeu by all accounts is at least somewhat likely to be back with us on a second loan next season.

Lukaku is the one i'm worried about. Please don't leave us, Romelu!!!!

....be interesting to see how Deulofeu turns out. John Cross (The Arsenal supporting journalist on Talk Sports this morning) is raving about him and reckons he's Barcelona's next big thing. Alan Brazil said he was talking to RM who said he's the best he's ever worked with when he's got the ball at his feet. I suspect the criticism of Gibbs might be unfounded as the boy has obviously got great control, shifted the ball literally inches and BANG.

You may well have done that several times this season, but that's NOT what you were doing yesterday. Anyone with half a brain and both eyes open could see that. You quite simply couldn't get the ball off us in the first half for large periods. That doesn't mean we're a better side than you, or that we're gonna win the league, or whatever... but for 40mins yesterday, we utterly outplayed you.

The one thing we lacked was that final chance creation... but that will come with time as we get more and more used to playing this way.

So because when good sides have possession you stay compact...means Arsene Wengers football philosophy for the past 20 years is counter attacking football?

Mate your the utter handicap, your spouting ****e. If you said something like 'against the better teams thats how we play' or something like that i wouldnt have had an issue.

It when you talk ****e like 'were not a possession based team anymore' you make a complete mug of yourself because Arsenal have led the way in this country for years with it!

He's not the only one. Barcelona reckon he's Barcelona's next big thing too.

The shot was great. But when your player gets the ball and slow things down. Gibbs kind of back off assuming he's gonna pass to Coleman. So he kind of invites the player to take a shot....if he gets closer the player doesnt take a shot. it doesnt mean a goal wouldnt come once he gives the ball to Coleman. but rather that then letting someone have a shot. The everton player took 2 touches before the shot and that for me is unacceptable that he is aloud to get a shot away. The shot itself is fantastic
