You think Wilshere's average?

Obviously he's a good player, to be holding down a place in the Arsenal midfield, but he's also very one-footed, and that is why he doesn't have that sense of "anything is possible when he's on the ball." He favours his left foot for everything. At top top level that sort of limitation gets found out.

I think Rocastle lad was posting yesterday about his injuries taking their toll on him, something about having pins put in his ankles? From my point of view mate he's certainly overhyped and never been overly impressed with him. I'm not saying he's average though just not as good as he is made out to be. Again though that could be down to injuries. Certainly if someone saidwho out of Wilshire or Barkley will be a cert for England on yesterdays evidence and what I've seen of him ( not as much as you of course ) I would say Barkley.

True true. The few times he has played with Barcelona's first team, he has looked a bit timid, tbh. I figured he needed much more time before he's comfortable, doing well in the Premiership will go a long ways in getting him there...perhaps sooner than later
I'd say he looks in a similar position to Ronaldo when he signed for Utd. Very slight, great feet and decision making needs a bit of work at times.

So, Utd had to keep Ronaldo for 6 years to turn him into the player that ended up going to Madrid... You guys are ok with that, right? :D

Jack is a great talent, but people forget the injuries he has had. Any young English player coming through will get overhyped. I mean look at Townsend. good thing for Wilshere is he has passed the enxt hope to Barkley and he can develop in peace. Wilshere is still 21 and has alot of time to grow. The most important thing is to get his fitness in order and i expect him to shine

I agree mate regarding the injuries, always going to have an impact on a lads development ( see Jack Roswell as proof of that!!! ). And yes your correct, young kid has a great game and he's the next best thing since sliced bread. Lots of time on his side but its all about getting over those injuries which is just as much about a mental thing as well as physical.

he wont develop, he's too busy shagging around and smoking spliffs. ****ing waste of talent thinking he's dead hard with his tats.
