@Elong not sure why you have gone along to dislike every negative post about Lennon on here. Not sure me having a opinion on his football ability has anything to do with his very unfortunate position. As a suffer of anxiety and depression myself I know a little about feeling maybe like Lennon does currently.

So stop your silly point scoring on the back of what the poor lad is going through.

That's not what @Elong was implying. Try reading it again. Nothing to do with his footballing ability, more so the anxiousness to do the right thing in front of 35k screaming blues baying for blood if he gets it wrong.

Glad he is getting the help he needs, and to be honest I'm glad it got released/leaked. Too much stigma is attached to mental health and the more exposure it gets will highlight the fact that it's an illness.

I haven't read his posts just seen him disliking my Jan comments about selling him, wasn't sure how me expressing a need to sell him warranted a dislike on the evening of that awful news coming out if you get me? May have taken it the wrong way but that's the way it seemed when I woke up to that.

Best wishes to him, just another unfortunate but timely reminder that mental health issues can strike anyone, at any time.

People do need to look after themselves, and society in general needs to be more understanding and supportive.

Hopefully Aaron will get the help he needs and come back playing. Get well soon lad.

Just caught the story about Aaron Lennon on the news - I must admit it was quite a shock. Have to feel for the guy, I've been through depression earlier in my life and it can be a dark place. Thankfully, he'll be getting the help and support he needs right now. Just goes to show, money doesn't automatically equal happiness. As already said, he's at the best club for support in his recovery.
