@Elong not sure why you have gone along to dislike every negative post about Lennon on here. Not sure me having a opinion on his football ability has anything to do with his very unfortunate position. As a suffer of anxiety and depression myself I know a little about feeling maybe like Lennon does currently.

So stop your silly point scoring on the back of what the poor lad is going through.

Let's hope Aaron is strong enough to get through whatever is going on that we don't know about. I'm sure that the club will help him in any way they can and will hopefully protect him from the media as best it can.
This is a bigger problem in football than I think most people realise and urgently needs addressing.
Take care Aaron.

At the right club to be looked after, hopefully he makes a full recovery.

Desperately sad news.

I hope he has a willing & able support network around him that can get him through this awful time.

Best of luck Aaron Lennon, the Blues are with you mate.

Genuinely surprised that there aren't more mental health cases reported amongst footballers and other sportspeople.
Let's be honest, a lot of them aren't the brightest and come from poor to average earning families, to go from that to the constant pressure of being famous, under constant pressure by the media and public for 15-25 years then in most cases have it taken away on retirement would mess with anyones head

Poor lad. If he's got to that stage I can only imagine it's a long road back to health again for him. I'm sure the club will be supporting him in any way they can though and I wish him the very best of luck.

Always seemed a chirpy character has Aaron. As has been said he's at the finest Club possible for help and support with whatever is currently troubling him. Keep your chin up Aaron and use the support networks available to you.

Social media an absolute out-pour of good will to the lad from the entire footballing world.

Hope he doesn't go the way of Gazza who should've been the kick up the rear football needed to make sure players mental health is treated with the same importance as their physical wellbeing
