Not sure me having a opinion on his football ability has anything to do with his very unfortunate position. As a suffer of anxiety and depression myself I know a little about feeling maybe like Lennon does currently.

This is a bigger problem in football than I think most people realise and urgently needs addressing.

Genuinely surprised that there aren't more mental health cases reported amongst footballers and other sportspeople.
Let's be honest, a lot of them aren't the brightest and come from poor to average earning families, to go from that to the constant pressure of being famous, under constant pressure by the media and public for 15-25 years then in most cases have it taken away on retirement would mess with anyones head
