I suppose I let me cynicism get the the better of me, by thinking he was playing for a contract. Knew he was an alright player, but baulked at levy's valuation of £9m's worth of alright. Turned out that it seemed about right, on Lennon's current form.

I always liked him when he initially joined Spurs and when playing for England, don't know at what point or for what reason he fell out of favour at Totenham, but their loss is our gain.
I was amazed at how fast he is when you see him live, he tracks back at some rate of knots and makes some important interceptions to add to his attacking play.

He won't because Jesse Lingard played in United's last game.

It'll be as big a shock as the Osman call-up if Lennon gets a bell from Roy. Would be made up for him though.

We did against W.Ham (with 10 men to boot) and played superbly.

It's not like England has a load of wingers whipping in Beckham style crosses from the right though is it?

I like his mentality. Always gives 100% and doesn't overly respect the opposition. We need more of that ruthless attitude to progress. Besic has it in spades as well. We showed it as a team against Chelsea. Stood up to them physically all over the park.
