Aaron Lennon ( On Loan January 2015 )

How much would you pay for Lennon in the Summer

  • Up to the rumoured 6 or 7 million - worth every penny

  • No more than 5 million - he's OK, but not worth any more

  • No more than 3 million - he's got no end product ffs

  • Wouldn't take him on a free, he's badly gash

  • Stop asking me questions and stick the grill on

Who are they? Grammar, Robin.

hjaha, like the Royal we? Or do you mean those folk who have to get to the bottom of the barrel to find a joke.:pint2:

PS I do understand the point about is and are to be used in the singular and plural. Thank you for pointing it out. BTW I am not Batman's sidekick!:)

Lennon looks to be a way better bet than either McGeady or Atsu, so I'm happy with deal providing we haven't already agreed to buy him in the summer and sell Mirallas as part of the deal.
Also, I think we are stronger as a squad from our January dealings. i.e. Gaining Lennon, losing Eto'o.

I think he could be a perfect fit, a former England international who's career is in desperate need of a new start. He's still only 27 so is coming into his prime. He has lots of pace and trickery. Can't understand some of the negativity on here.

i always find these shouts stupid.

Just because a player is out of favour at one club doesn't mean they could come and be good at us.

Pienaar is a prime example, Tim Howard even though he's tosh now was out of favour and has given us a good few seasons.

Even Lukaku.
Big difference .

Lukaku and Howard came from much bigger clubs and better teams.

Pienaar's best years were in his first spell with us.

The club doesn't really matter though it's all about the player.

Pienaar i was referring to when he was at Dortmund, and he completely flopped there.

So really just because they fall out of favour somewhere doesn't mean they won't come here and take theyre chance and do well.

Give him a few games and you'll probably be made up with him.

One is a 3 times champion league winner with an amazing goal scoring record the other is Aaron Lennon - yeah we are loads stronger

Ummm... I'm still on the fence with this signing... He was so promising when he was a youngster...
But in the last 3-4 seasons, he pretty much flattered to deceive...

Maybe Bobby's the right guy to get the best out of him?

What a ridiculous Post!!

Actually your post was ridiculous - he's right Eto was misued by Bob on the flanks no wonder he wanted out - old or not if used correctly in a decent team he scores - Lennon on the other hand does not score and has managed just 2 assists this season, 3 the season before and about 4/5 the year before - so what exactly are you saying??
