Aaron Lennon ( On Loan January 2015 )

How much would you pay for Lennon in the Summer

  • Up to the rumoured 6 or 7 million - worth every penny

  • No more than 5 million - he's OK, but not worth any more

  • No more than 3 million - he's got no end product ffs

  • Wouldn't take him on a free, he's badly gash

  • Stop asking me questions and stick the grill on

Agreed. We can do without that. Obviously the work of someone very young...in the head at least. Presumably mods will act.

Well, I did the original (the one without Mcgeady in it). Sorry you don't find it funny. I'm a big fan of free speech, satire and Irony myself, so I don't really give a crap what you think.

here's a couple of examples of the Japanese using humour to mock ISIS during their recent hostage crisis:

You see, sometimes humour can be used to make light of something very dark.

I hope he realises how much Evertonians love a winger with a few tricks. I'm sure in time he'll get used to his new name, AaronSh1te-U-R-ladLennon.

Grandoldteam's answer to Chrsitopher Hitchens. Aside from the Nais-hate, can always count on your posts to have me nodding in agreement.

Lad, he's the answer to all our problems, pace, trickery, class, knows the league. Nil Satis lad.

He's f**king useless lad. Worse than Madar. He's always been sh*te. Levy has robbed us blind. Sack Martinez, sack the board

Word is that following our defeat to Newcastle at home in Oct, Adebayor & mates he had invited into the dressing room were laughing & joking & generally in high spirits. Kane called him on it, reminding hime we had just lost a match & that it mattered to some people & Ade tried to mug him off (ie, basically told him to know his place - Kane wasn't a first team regular then). Ade thought the other players would back him up (i believe a delelegation even went to see Poch) but apart from the ones mentioned, they & the manager sided with Kane.

Beginning of the end.
Kane was spot on. Worrying.

I dont see any down side to this. We got rid of a bad influence with Eto'o and used the cash to fund his replacement, who on his day can punch holes into PL defences.

Well yes. Maybe because of Fifa fair play but there seems like there is less money flying about. Maybe it's because the gap between the championship/premiership is too high. Maybe after seeing QPR spend lots of money on the sort of players who were Spurs reserves and get relegated twice teams have thought again. Perhaps it is that clubs scout the European markets more now.

What it has led to though, is there are no longer a host of clubs looking to take the likes of Spurs reserve players off them. Everyone knows that Levy has got too many players, more than he ever wants or needs. He demands top dollar for his players but people are working him out and slowly refusing to pay it as they know the alternative is a lot worse for him.

I have no sympathy, had he have made a credible offer for Mirallas, something like Lennon plus 7-8 million we may have considered it. But it was typical Levy. He tried to pick him up for 3-5 million just to sell him on for 8 million 18 months later. People are growing wise to his tricks.

I think him and Kenwright are quite good friends. But underneath it all there is a shrewd negotiator with Kenwright. If Lennon performs well I hope Kenwright holds his nerve and doesn't pay the 7 million. If Lennon hits it off with us he won't want to go elsewhere. Levy will budge as he won't want to risk leaving Lennon with 6 months on his contract (ie next January) having to pay his wages until January. I suspect 3/4 million may be enough to get him, which could turn out to be a very good deal for us. For a player who's market value should be closer to 10 million, especially when you consider what Liverpool paid for the likes of Lallana.

Another accurate post, and you've acknowledged that Bill Kenwright is a tough negotiator, despite what some on here would have us believe. Interesting listening to Cahill this morning...Moyes wanted him at Sociedad(Moyes has just lost a striker for a while to injury) and Cahill also spoke to Henri(anyone watching Sky would know that) and significantly Bill Kenwright. I doubt that Cahill was touting for a job at Everton...probably asking the chairmans advice , because, again, despite the heckling of the usual suspects, BK has an excellent reputation amongst football professionals.

Seeing as I am an old Boy, Derek Temple, Alex Scott, Tommy Ring, Johhny Morrisey, Dave Thomas, of course there are loads more like Khanchelskis.
feel free to add>

Christ the face on him, looks like someones just woke him up from a nice cosy sleep by giving him a good slap.

looks a lot older and more weight than last time I took any notice of him.

You don't know me, but I've been dealing with comedians and other performers all my life. Free speech does not mean insensitivity to tragedy. You've been officially reported .

Okay Lennon is here, give the lad a chance but come season end send him back and go all out for Del.

Alternatively I wish we could find a winger like Johnny Morrisey, full backs and CBs were scared of him because he was a tough no nonsense player. Does anyone know of any wingers in that mould?
