I like Jon Steward's ex-sidekick John Oliver. I think he's a laugh!

I saw a lot of anguish in the way she was delivering the script. Usually she does put a lot more into the delivery of the punchline. The slamming down of the pen looked very much like somebody not doing well. Personally thought it really spoke to how they are feeling right, exasperated, depressed, concerned.

Although, not even sure what you mean by 'tame', shouting at the camera 'What the [Poor language removed] America' is not a tame thing to do?

What I gauge from the words she used is 'I believe that'. She was saying that there has been a rhetoric that is similar to times of fascism and authoritarianism. Not once did she call Trump a fascist, just that we are entering a period of time that we have seen before. Comments like the 'enemy within'.

To be honest she is just, correctly, comparing historical facts with current facts. Using the exact words that Trump has used and looking at the historical events that have taken place after a similar rhetoric was used to gain power.

What is you opinion on some of the stuff Trump has said about killing journalists, taking revenge on the 'enemy within', etc.

Do you think this is dangerous and could easily prove to create tension. Create people to do what he is basically asking them to do?

If you do then fair enough, it is all about opinions and I think that AOC is just verbalising her concerns. Not once did she mention the word 'kill', 'shoot'. It was a belief that the rhetoric that Trump has used has historical precedence and it has never turned out well for certain groups of people.

My opinion is that this is not strongly worded at all and compared to some things Trump has said it as tame as it gets when talking about what has happened.

It is a pro Russia, pro Putin account and always follows lines to support this - even though there are attempts to disguise the intent, its generally clear enough.
