He's older but still riding off of Obama's popularity to win good favour now as much as he did then tbh.
Nobody was a passionate Joe Biden superfan like with an Obama, Trump or even Hilary. He struck me as too old to be the VP and I was shocked that they pushed him as the nominee but that's just how dire it is out there for a convincing Democrat candidate.
I think that's a whole other branding problem the Democrats need to address. Obama was a phenom and lightning in a bottle. Even before he became the front runner it was looking pretty dry as far potential candidates and with Hilary and the incumbent bump going away they are really struggling for someone to get behind imo.

Outside of the Muslim population and the left leaning youth up in Canada, most of the population unfortunately I feel doesn't care at all about Gaza. That's here obviously but I suspect general attitudes towards that issue are friendlier here due to the left lean and higher proportion of Muslims in the population.
I am but a woman finners so likely quite stupid and requiring male (alphas only!) guidance.

The conflation of the United State's security with Israel's is a massive obstacle to Palestine being given a serious plus at the polls., yes.
However, US Presidents in the past like Carter and Clinton who attempted to deal an even hand on Palestine got a lot of political credit.
