Not a joke at all. For me the Russia-Ukraine war is basically a war between Lucifer and Satan.

I'm actually curious how people like @verreauxi are sucking Ukraine off on their bios. Unless he's somebody of Ukrainian origin or has links to Ukraine somehow, I find it embarrassing an American can go around acting so concerned for Ukraine.

Let's explain. Ukraine is not a bastion of democracy or human rights. It's essentially a fascist-like government that has suspended all elections, suspended opposition parties, stripped minorities of basic human rights, praises Nazis and Zelensky has even invited and honored an ACTUAL Nazi to the Canadian parliament. Not to mention, it's an extremely corrupt nation.

My issue with the matter is that, the Ukrainian struggle is being put ahead of Americans. Whether it's the abject response to the Hurricane or rising economic hardship, American lives are being put secondary to whatever the US needs to appease Ukraine. It's one thing defending nations like UK, France, Netherlands etc from a war; nations where we hold common values, allied for at least a century and nations that have contributed to America's journey to becoming the sole superpower of the world and it's a totally different thing for Americans to accept supporting a quasi-fascist state that only became an "ally" since 2014 that shares no common values with the West nor do the people of Ukraine.
